Strength Training Mistakes
If you lift weights and use the wrong tempo, you could be risking injury or at the very least, not giving your body the best workout. A good tempo for most people has a longer eccentric phase. This is the phase where most muscle building occurs. If you have hypertension, you need to avoid an isometric phase and should limit the concentric phase. So, if you lift it and lower it as fast as you can, you could do better. If you are unfamiliar with tempos, drop by and see me.
