How Healthy Sleep can help a Healthy Weight
This is a story of not too much, but enough. A study at Columbia University found that getting less than 6 hours of sleep per night can increase your risk of obesity by 23%. This goes up to 50% when you get 5 or less. Yet, a study in Psychosomatic Medicine reveals that people that get a lot of sleep have similar complaints to people who sleep too little. Aim for a healthy sleep of 7-9 hours. Experiment and find out what works best for you!
