The Power Of Cardio

Cardio is an important part of your fitness program. I see many people skip it or do it incorrectly. They either go for TOO LONG as a super-easy pace or they go for TOO SHORT or nothing at all.

Making cardio a priority and doing 3 consistent cardio workout a week can make dramatic results in the appearance of your body. While strength training is critical to increasing your lean mass (your muscle), cardio is the KEY TO BURNING FAT. It also keeps your heart and lungs strong.

Eat you Fruits and Veggies

Ok — I always have clients asking me how to eat healthy and how to lose weight. Eating a lot of fruits and veggies is a challenge. Believe me, I know!! You have to work at it. Try to eat a balanced diet and include lots of fresh fruits and vegetables in your diet. They are a great source of fiber and vitamins with very little calories. Nobody ever got fat from eating too many vegetables!! I wish you great success on your weight loss and fitness goals!!

The business traveler — glamorous? HARDLY!! Staying fit on the road is a challenge I hear from lots of different clients. Fitness is important and needs to be a priority in your life. So, here are a few tips!

1– Check out your hotel ahead of time. Is there a fitness center?
2 — WALK !! If you cannot do your regular cardio workout, walking will keep you going
3– Plan ahead!! Pack your shoes, yoga mat, ex bands, healthy snacks — whatever it takes to keep you going on the road!!
